Zach Rosenbaum provides engineering analysis and technical support related to space, satellite, telecommunications, and the intersection of telecommunications infrastructure companies. Zach advises on space policy matters related to radiofrequency use and sustainable use of outer space. At SES, Zach held various engineering roles in support of satellite operations and regulatory support. Most recently, Zach was the Vice President of Americas and NGSO Spectrum Management and Development team. In this role, he led a team of engineers and scientists the build and advance the spectrum assets necessary for a global satellite operator to commercialize satellite connectivity across the surface of the Earth. Zach has provided strategic advice to executive leadership and decision makers to secure new orbit and frequency opportunities that served as the foundation for future commercial satellite systems. Zach has operational experience for ground station infrastructure from design, compliance, and compatibility perspectives. Finally, he has helped design satellite constellations to optimize capacity efficiency while minimizing capital expenditure.
Due to the global nature of satellite system, Zach has cultivated strong relationships with fellow radiofrequency engineers and policy makers that influence the international satellite spectrum management framework at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
