Karine Dussert-Sarthe

Speaker Bio

Karine Dussert-Sarthe has been Managing Director Regional Paris at Orange since 2024. In this role she is responsible for Orange's activities in Regional Paris, from field operations to commercial teams, with 5000 employees and has delivered Olympic Games connectivity as part of Orange commitment to Paris 2024. She has extensive strategic and commercial experience in the telecommunications and technology market. 


Prior to this role, she was appointed in September 2019 as Executive Vice-President at Orange, leading global product marketing, design and open innovation teams. She previously served as an executive accountable for marketing, customer experience, customer relationship or chief of staff to a CEO, for various companies including : Telstra SFR, Match Group, and Orange. 


A 25-year international telecom veteran, Karine brings to the role a proven track record of building and leading diverse teams, developing revenue in new growth territories, accelerating digital transformation, leading communications and marketing activations. 


She served several years in Australia as an Executive Director for Telstra in various roles, building her international leadership. 


Karine has a passion for what technology and digital can do for citizens and consumers in general. She was actively focused with her team on 5G, VR, next generation home experience and super apps as the next growth drivers for Orange and now focused on driving the best customer experience for Regional Paris customers. For years she was also in charge of global start-ups scouting and incubation to the benefits of Orange top line.  


After completing her Master in Management from HEC Paris (1997), Karine worked as a consultant at Corporate Value Associates, Cluster Consulting (Oliver Wyman).
