Carl R. Cruz is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Globe Telecom Inc., the Philippines' leading mobile and digital solutions provider. Under Carl’s leadership, Globe continues to redefine its role beyond connectivity, reflecting its commitment to empowering Filipinos and businesses through innovative solutions that drive progress and growth.
With over 30 years of global leadership experience across telecommunications and fast-moving consumer goods, Carl is focused on driving Globe’s growth and transformation. He is committed to ensuring Globe maintains its mobile market leadership while expanding its digital ecosystem to unlock new opportunities, enhance customer experiences, and create long-term value for stakeholders.
Before joining Globe, Carl served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, one of Africa’s largest telecommunications providers with over 60 million subscribers. In this role, he also served as the Regional Operating Director for Airtel Africa, overseeing strategic operations across multiple countries.
