Aleix Casals leads Strategic Partnerships at AWS Startups for Southern Europe, where he works closely with VC firms and key ecosystem players to help startups scale their businesses. His focus includes fundraising, strategy, and go-to-market. He is also an advisor and angel investor in multiple startups.
With 15 years of experience in the tech sector, Aleix was an early employee at Twitter, holding various roles within the revenue organization. Before that, he was a partner at Adman Media, an AdTech startup later acquired by Acuity Ads. His entrepreneurial journey began during college when he founded a travel industry startup that successfully exited.
Aleix holds a degree in Business Administration from Universitat Ramon Llull, with a specialization in entrepreneurship from Marquette University. He has also completed Executive Education at Wharton Business School.
