Speaker Bio
Cindy Cook is Ericsson’s Global Head of Spectrum and Technology Regulations. She has overall responsibility for coordinating and driving Ericsson’s spectrum and technology regulatory efforts globally, across the Ericsson Group and towards regulatory bodies such as the ITU.
Ms. Cook has over 35 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, regulation and policy development, and in technology systems development. Prior to joining Ericsson, she was the Director, International Spectrum & Standards with the Canadian Government where she led Canadian preparations towards multiple ITU-R Radiocommunication Assemblies (RA) & World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRC). Cindy has been actively participating in the work of the ITU-R for over 20 years where she has chaired progressively higher-level international meetings including the ITU-R Conference Preparatory Meeting (CPM-23) for WRC-23. She is an advocate for gender equality and the role of women in the spectrum and technology fields.
