Dr. Sherif R. Sherif joined Omantel in 2016, he is a Senior Strategist. Prior to that he was at USA from 2001-2016 working as Senior Manager at Verizon Wireless (NJ, USA), Technical Manager for Lucent (Bell Labs) (NJ, USA), Alcatel-Lucent (currently Nokia) (NJ, USA). His expertise spans Technology Strategy, Technology Introduction, and Wireless Performance Analysis. Dr. Sherif has made significant contributions to the introduction and strategic roadmap of 5G and LTE technologies, as well as nationwide deployments and optimization.
Dr. Sherif is the author of several patents in the USA, EU, and Korea, focusing on Intelligent Traffic Management, Quality of Service, and Managing Traffic and Infrastructure. He has also published numerous papers in refereed journals and conferences.
Dr. Sherif holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Philosophy, and a Master of Science from the City University of New York.
