Speaker Bio
Cesare Cugnasco is the founding CEO of Qbeast, a spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He holds a PhD in Computer Architecture and has a background in big data and high-performance computing. His work focuses on optimizing data storage and retrieval, particularly in large-scale analytics and machine-learning applications. Through Qbeast, he works on developing and commercializing efficient indexing and storage techniques for open table formats.
